Event Publicity Listing Criteria:

LAStartupEvents.org only promotes LARGE real world, IN PERSON regional and global startup conferences and conventions that offer educational or social activities (not just sales) to help connect and accelerate the innovation ecosystem in the Southern California region

  1. Please SUBMIT AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE so we have time to promote your event.

  2. Events must be big enough to attract face-to-face attendance of 100+ people. (Promoting an online virtual event?  Try here instead.)

  3. Please complete all fields below, including submission of a graphic, logo, or illustration for which you grant us rights for publication and promotions.

  4. Pay the $20 USD listing fee to help cover the costs of this free community-building service. (50% discount available for non-profit groups.)

  • Can we pay you for more promotions? Will you send out email blasts that promote only our event to your audience?
    Yes. If you have a marketing budget and want more than a calendar listing and one newsletter inclusion, let us know here. We can offer customized placements, promotions in 50+ major city Meetup groups globally, and targeted email blasts to our national and Southern California audiences of entrepreneurs, investors, and startup service providers.

    • The Startup Council has 7000+ global startup conference attendees on its email lists. After you have posted your event on our calendar via the form above, we can also email that highly targeted audience a dedicated promotion of your event for $195.

    • And if you want more, the Startup Council has 80,000+ members in its global startup-focused Meetup groups in 20+ countries. We can message all those startup friends for an additional $695.

  • What if I have ZERO budget? If your f2f startup event will host at least 100+ people and you give us at least 3 weeks advance notice, you can download our logo (here). Post it on your website with a link back to us. Then just email us here with the URL. We’ll reply with a free promo code you can use in the form for a free listing on our calendar and in our newsletters.)

  • Are Media Sponsorships or Promotional Partnerships Available?: Email us details here if you’d like free promotion of your events in exchange for cross-promotions and/or if you have an affiliate program to share. If you are producing multiple large events, we’re happy to chat about longer term promotional partnerships, too.
