Investor Connect: Pitch & Deal Flow Night - Los Angeles

Pitch Night in Los Angeles.

A curated mix of founders, operators and investors, drinks in hand. Founders take the stage for short, honest pitches — then the floor opens and the room does what the room does. Come with one sentence about what you're building.

What this night is about.

A focused pitch and networking night in Los Angeles: live startup pitches, direct investor feedback, and time to meet relevant founders and peers.

This night puts investors in the room on purpose: angels, VC partners and venture scouts meeting the founders they would otherwise find months later. Startups pitch live, investors ask the questions everyone learns from, and the networking before and after is where the follow-ups happen — founder to investor, and investor to investor.

What to expect

  • Startups pitch live and take focused feedback from angels and VC partners

  • Structured networking before and after the pitch session

  • Founders, operators and entrepreneurs comparing notes and trading introductions

  • Active investors and venture scouts discovering strong startups early

Investors are welcome

Investors are invited to expand their network, meet new startups early, share feedback and join discussions with early-stage and serial founders. Institutional investors, angels and venture scouts with a track record attend free — fill in the Investor Application Form or email hello@startupvalley.club and the ticket will be issued.

Want to pitch?

A limited number of founders pitch to a panel of investors and experts — 4–6 per night, each followed by a short Q&A. Get the "Pitch at the event" ticket, then apply with the pitch application form and your deck; spots are selected in advance.

The slot is paid, and it comes with the work around it: the pitching guide will be shared and you will be coached before you go on stage, given honest feedback on your deck, and make sure active investors are in the room to hear it. The best startups are featured on Startup Valley’s social media and in the biweekly investor newsletter — and for the teams Startup Valley believes in, they will make direct introductions to relevant investors and angels after the night.

Good to know

Smart casual, doors at the time on your ticket, and the room keeps going until the venue winds down. Questions or partnership ideas: hello@startupvalley.club.

The room is the point.

Founders & startup teams: Builders from the Los Angeles startup scene at every stage — some pitching on stage, all comparing notes on fundraising, hiring and what's actually working.

Investors: VCs and angels attend by approval and listen to every pitch. Q&A is direct and public — the feedback the room hears is the feedback that matters.

Engineers & operators: The people who've shipped the thing you're stuck on, or who want to join what you're building. Most intros here start with the pitches everyone just watched.

Come with one sentence about what you're building or looking for. The pitch session gives every conversation in the room something real to start from — no name-tag small talk, no slide-deck keynotes.

Thanks to Startup Valley for sharing the graphics and details with our LA Startup Events members and friends across Southern California.
