LA Raise Summit & Roundtables
Candid conversations with LA investors and founders, and a clear plan for your 2027 raise.
Wednesday, December 2, 2026 · 1:30–6:30 PM PST, including a networking reception (5:30 to 6:30 PM) · Los Angeles, venue shared with approved founders. Presented by Plug In Ventures, as part of the SBOP Capital Initiative
The LA Raise Summit is a curated afternoon for pre-seed and seed founders getting ready to raise. Plug In Ventures brings LA's early-stage founders together with the investors and founders who shape the city's startup ecosystem. You'll hear firsthand how LA investors evaluate early-stage companies, then sit down in small roundtables for candid conversations about your raise.
How the afternoon works: You'll spend the afternoon between the stage and the table. On stage, LA investors and founders talk candidly about today's fundraising climate and what separates fundable companies. At the table, you'll join 8–12 founders for two 45-minute roundtables, each a candid conversation led by a different investor or founder.
On the program
Opening fireside: Mark Mullen, Co-Founder of Bonfire Ventures, with a special guest from the LA ecosystem, on today's fundraising climate
Founder & investor roundtables: candid, small-group conversations led by investors and founders
Ecosystem conversation: LA investors and founders on what earns a second meeting, with audience Q&A
Closing: you leave with your next fundraising steps on paper
Networking reception: drinks and light bites with investors, founders and partners
